-Evaluation and Diagnosing: of periodontal (gum) condition. An important aspect of oral health, the surrounding gums and bone provide the foundation and support for the teeth. Diseased gums can cause early tooth loss and has been implicated in the advancement of heart disease.
-Quadrant Scaling: treatment of the roots to smooth and clean them with the benefit of local anesthesia so there is no discomfort.
-Laser Treatment: treatment of isolated areas of gum pockets using a laser resulting in little or no post-operative discomfort, no incisions and no sutures (“stitches”).
-Chemotherapeutics: placement of anti-biotic powder into deeper gum pockets to aid in the treatment of periodontal disease.
